The North Suburban Concert Band (NSCB) is a community band that provides several concerts each year in Anoka County, Minnesota, and surrounding areas. Its mission is to encourage adult musicians of all ability levels in the enjoyment and performance of music. For over 40 years, we have been making music together and hope to do so for many more years to come.

Join the 2025-26 North Suburban Concert Chorale

The North Suburban Concert Chorale is currently recruiting members! This year we will also have a children's choir. Membership dues for the year will be $10 for children and $40 for adults.

Rehearsals will be Sundays, Oct 26th - Nov 30th at Advent Lutheran Church in Maple Grove. The children's choir will rehearse from 5:00-5:45pm and the adults will rehearse from 6:00-8:00pm.

Both groups of the NSCC will perform with the North Suburban Concert Band at the Holiday Concert on Saturday, Dec 6th at Anoka Middle School - Fred Moore Campus at 2:00pm.

Want to get involved?

If you would like to get involved, there are several ways you can do that!
  • Do you play an instrument? Consider joining the band. Head over to the Join Us page and fill out the Membership Inquiry form.
  • Do you or your child sing? Consider joining the North Suburban Concert Chorale who performs with the NSCB at our Holiday concerts. By joining the NSCC, adults may also get the opportunity to audition for our 16 piece Vocal Jazz Ensemble if we are having one that year.   • Don't play an instrument or sing, but still want to help out? Consider volunteering at one of our concerts. We are always looking for help with collecting tickets, passing out snacks at our Holiday and Pops concerts, handing out programs, collecting donations for our beneficiary at our Cathedral Concert, taking pictures for the band, and anything else that the band needs help with throughout the season.
